The term Gypset (gypsy + jet set) coined to describe an international group of artists, entrepreneurs, surfers, seekers, and bon vivants– who lead semi-nomadic, unconventional lives. They are people I’ve met–or been inspired by– in my travels from Mongolia to Morocco who have perfected a creative approach to life that fuses the freelance and nomadic ways of the mythologic gypsy with the adventurous freedom of the jet set. It’s an alternative way of traveling, living, and thinking that’s based more on creativity than cash.
